Lindsay Corporation has an exciting opportunity for a Controller to join their office in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The Controller will be responsible for analyzing financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax
liability, or other financial activities.


  • Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs
  • Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses to prepare the monthly Forecast
  • Preparing periodic reports that compare forecasted costs to actual costs
  • Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural
    standards (IFRS & US GAAP)
  • Review accounts for discrepancies and reconcile differences
  • Prepare adjusting journal entries that is required for monthly close
  • Manage accounting related enquiries from the Omaha office
  • Manage and assist with both internal and statutory audit engagements
  • Provide the required accurate current and projected product cost to enable accurate pricing and pricelist compilation
  • Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology
  • Advise management about issues such as resource utilization, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts
  • Maintain or examine the internal control environment to ensure compliance with relevant policies and legislation
  • Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements


  • CPA or CMA
  • 5 years+ of IFRS accounting experience (2-5 years of experience in public accounting, preferably Big4)
  • Experience in French environment, manufacturing, FR GAAP and USA GAAP
  • Advanced computer literacy and exposure to relevant software
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Fluent command of French and English both written and spoken
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the European region 30%- 40% of the time
